Hilo, HI Restaurant
Cafe 100 of Hilo, HI is a restaurant that serves delicious and fresh dishes at affordable rates. We opened in 1946 as a diner in Waiakea Town. After a tsunami hit, the restaurant was reopened and rebuilt in 1962 by owner Richard Miyashiro and became Hilo's first drive-in with a full service menu.
65 years later, we continue to feed generations of families with healthy servings from chicken dishes to our signature dish known as Loco Moco.
Loco Moco is a meal in a bowl consisting of hot rice (white or brown) topped with a hamburger patty, gravy, and a fried egg. Over the years, our Loco Moco menu has expanded to include over 25 different varieties by replacing the hamburger patty with other meats, fish, chicken, or vegetables and in combinations on plates.
Come visit us and experience great servings in a cozy ambiance.
